Palacios was trying to get comfortable in the fight but he was falling for Azille's bluff. I told him before the fight that Azille was going to come forward and try to land a big punch early and bluff his way to a decision. I told Palacios that he just needed to stand his ground and throw with Azille and then Azille would fall because Palacios was a significantly better boxer. The second Palacios got his hands moving, the fight was over. It reminded me of Roy Jones the way he was hitting this guy faster than he could fall.

After the fight, we all went out to Miami and had a blast.

The uppercut completely cought me off guard.. I had Azille winning because Polacios wasn't throwing enough and putting in enough work.. Just sitting there on the ropes from time to time not to mention most his **** hitting glove but that was an awesome turn around. He needs to get some bigger trunks though with his Camacho looking ass lol He might as well been in there with just his boxer briefs.

Those trunks are old. I agree, a 200 pound man has no business wearing a skirt. His hero was Camacho so it's an homage of sorts.

I'd like to know what Palacios would've done with time to prepare. If I recall, he had been out of the gym for 2 weeks when he took the fight. If not for his last minute roadwork, he might not have even made the weight.

No doubt but Azzile had'nt fought but like once in the last 3 years himself.I was'nt overly impressed with Palacios but he is decent and it was only his 13th pro fight.I did notice he had a good amatuer career tho too.

Palacios was getting his ass kicked for 6 rounds straight until he landed something nice in the 6th round. If the fight had went to the score card. Azille would have won. I downloaded this fight and was watching it and I was expecting Azille to get the ko since he was kicking Palacios ass for 6 rounds straight. Palacios is a lucky son of a ***** and better not try to fight better fighters the Azille. Palacios should go back to beating crap fighters and if he has a smart management team they would be able to see how crappy he fought for 6 rounds and got a lucky ko.

Y'know, that's my one problem with 'Cisco. He's a GREAT guy out of the ring, but even though he says he wants to win a title for his brother, imo he doesnt apply himself fully. You mention that he had been out of the gym for 2 weeks and had to run down to the last minute to make weight; I've seen him VERY inactive down here every year (and this is miami, where there's plenty of keep busy fights to take); I've talked to him at other fights in the crowd and he's dropping a few drinks with Daniel Santos, Juan Arroyo and fans. I mean, he's not a youngster in the fight game anymore...with his experience (amateur and collegiate) and talent, he should be fighting 4x a year. Hopefully this will give him some more exposure and better fights, but he's gotta make a FULL HEARTFELT commitment to it. Again, this is just my opinion, I dunno what goes on beyond what I've seen around town with him...but I'm still a fan for life and still am rooting for him no matter the fight.
