Do you feel a part of you is dead...

Now that Erik Morales and Arturo Gatti are retired? I dunno, I just associated a big part of my childhood with watching these guys on Boxing After Dark. I feel like I'm clinging to a piece of my past with Marco Antonio Barrera and Evander Holyfield on the way out as well, and this new blood is making me feel old. Watching Chad Dawson and Juan Diaz, I feel like I'm growing up because these guys are on the comeup as I'm becoming older.

      Blame your boy Pacquiao.
      He ruined EM.

Boxing will be different without them, but I'm someone who had to watch my beloved Mike Tyson and Tito Trinidad leave on losing efforts.

      There'll be others after them.

it has hurt me more than anything in boxing to see morales's last fights first see him shot as **** against pac and raheem, and now seeing him shot and in top of it all robbed, it has been too hard....

^yeah that hurts most...losing such a close fight when he performed pretty well considering his wars...plus history riding on the 4 titles in 4 weight classes

well Barrera is much better than Morales but Morales got the attiude that make people love him.

I like Barrera he was robbed in Morales first fight and gifted in the 2nd but won the war at the end.

For God Sake Morales didnt want to fight Barrera for the 3rd time and he didnt want more of boxing it weird what kept him fight all this time.

you feel his robbed but it not it was a close fight because Diaz was pushing Morales in the ropes and doing the flurries i told many that it was going to be a close fight where Diaz is going to win with his hard effort close dicision i was expecting that
