    Margarito vs. Judah

there's word that this might go down at the end of the year or early next......this is a good measuring stick as to EXACTLY how good is marg....ive always said cotto would of broke him down but paul williams got to him 1st....i may be in the minority but man im with judah all the way on this one......zab put forth an effort against cotto only champions can put up and now this is a perfect fight to win and get him a rematch..... margo's wide punches would be perfect for judah's power uppercuts....i really hope marg steps up and signs this one....u KNOW judah wants it.......

That's an exciting prospect and I'd love to see it happen. Margarito is a very slow starter where Judah is a lightning quick one. I see Judah taking the first 5-6 rounds based on speed and effective punching. If Margarito couldn't turn it on early, or apply insane pressure late to break Zab, I have Judah winning a unanimous decision.

Judah's conditioning isn't really much of a factor anymore, he proved against Cotto that he could go the distance with a tough, hungry heavy hitter. Nobody could rightfully question his heart at this stage in the game.

I always thought this would be a good fight. And I wanted to see Marg try and get it, but he seemed hell bent on Mayweather. Stylistically it would be a good fight, but I think Judah would be too fast for him and would win by UD. But there's always Judah's chin to worry about.

it would be a waste of time to put margarito in with judah. judah could not handle margaritos power. margarito punches harder than cotto and we saw what cotto did to him. judahs career will end the night he faces margarito. tell judah to beat someone and maybe tony will consider it.

Margarito is my brain pick. If Zab's head isn't in this one he will get swallowed. He's been getting by on athleticism for way too long, only discipline on offense will win him this fight. Has to incorporate that speed into offense for all 12 rounds and punch more than he's used to. Margarito pressures, is a very high punch output guy (outside of the Williams fight), parries quick shots real well, hits hard enough to make you switch gears and he's not going down. He's slow, but look how he made that ring shrink against Williams once he got in rhythm. I think his determination can break a mentally weak fighter.

He poses as much a threat as the fighters Judah has recently lost to. If I hear anything out of Zab's mouth about stopping Ant in 5, I will definitely stick with the Margarito pick. If this fight is legit, he's got to take this **** seriously.

Marg has a good chin, though. I'm not sure Zab would be able to KO him. Margarito would walk through his left hand and punish him just like Cotto most likely. Zab could definitely outbox him, but he gets off his gameplan to easily. Pressure Judah and he goes into survival mode where he puts his straight left in his pocket and loads up for miracles. Zab remains one of my favorite fighters, but Marg is probably too much for him. We all want to believe that Judah has what it takes and will turn it around eventually, but the guy is into his 30's now. If he doesn't show it in his next big fight...it's never going to happen on the level that most expected.

so i guess he stopped throwing punches because of his
                  conditioning

Hahaha..I don't know about Margarito hitting harder than Cotto.. I doubt that. When did Margie become Mike Tyson? I think Marg has been exposed. He is basura. Judah if smart, would win every ****in round.
