Jim Lampley hit it right on the money about Miguel Cotto

He said that if anyone can't prove in the first, two, or three rounds that their punch is too big, then they are going to be like most Cotto opponents, on the wrong side of a rising tide.

That is the most perfect phrase to describe Cotto.

It was on the Cotto-Judah countdown.

    Not accurate.
It's not like he can't lose a decision.

Whether it stays accurate or not we'll wait and see. But its obviously been dead-on-balls accurate thus far in his career, especially the Judah fight

I think that while that saying has proven to be true thus far in Miguel's career, it's also on the side of HBO nuthugging as well. The closer Cotto/Mosley gets the more I lean towards Shane.

            Hatton would destroy Cotto.

Shane is a small guy. And small guys age fast. For ANY of his future fights, I'm expecting Shane to get old overnight.

Cotto is a very good and promising fighter. But his win over Judah is solid but I'm not sold. Especially since its been proven he's a front runner. And I picked against him for that fight and was proven wrong.

But to his fans to say tht he will easily KO Shane is a bit of a stretch. Mosley is one of the best of this era.

Oh that fight isn't going to be an easy victory imo.
