    Morales Looked Great Last Night

I personaly had thought Morales was done after the 2nd Pacquiao fight but last night he looked great. He countered well he didnt back down and was able to hurt Diaz. I think their should be a rematch and i dont think Morales will retire just yet, he now knows he can still compete against top competition and his pride will force him back into the ring for revenge.

I think El Terrible did well and looked good considering what he's been through. I would like to see him fight again, but I think he's over it now. A rematch with Diaz would be an interesting fight. I think he'll even struggle to Match 135 again, if you look at him at the first press conference and the weigh in, there's huge difference in his size.

The extra weight was definately a huge help. As was not fighting a guy with blistering speed & power.

I felt he deserved the decision and fought well. But its not going to get any better for him. The time is right and he goes out with his head held high giving us one last war. Good for him.

was that a legit knockdown by Diaz in round 2? I kinda thought it was. I mean I know Morales slipped, but I thought Diaz landed the left around the glove.

                I disagree.

I have heard people say that Morales looked "great" when he looked nowhere near the "Great El Terrible". Erik gave it his all and fought to the best of his ability and was not able to beat David Diaz. Morales would have had any easy time with Diaz in the years past, using his jab and spinning out and probably stopping Diaz.

I applaud Morales effort saturday, but what's left to accomplish? Nothing.
