    would this stop the cheats

    just put this on another post, what if the judges were not at ring side but were watching the fight on a monitor, they could be anywhere in the world, and nobody should no who they are until the first bell goes, no crowd home decisions, would this work i thing it would

    and who would arrange for there payment? who would set up the facilities? there are MANY ways to influence someone.

      it's not perfect but would it be better, plus you could have an appeals panel to review decisions if they were suspect

          just spitballing, can you come up with something, or should it be left the way it is, it is great for forums when someone gets shafted but it does piss you right off, would appeal panels work

              maybe they hould all be hooked up to a lie detector lol, but i see what your saying something needs to be done but at the mo we just have to trust, which more frequently seems to be mislayed

                  There's no judging system that can be put in place that wouldn't be flawed.. but Boxing does need some sort of peer review in the future though. There are enough independent sporting bodies out there that could handle this and don't need money, so can't be swayed. Bad decisions leave a terrible taste in my mouth, and fights should be subject to getting overturned where warranted after the fact. I don't know why this is such a taboo thing to have in sports.

                  It's not the same thing, but the NFL's instant replay is so kick ass now. I remember when there were folks who thought it would make the game worse. Some of the games gone to the wayside via poor calls or non calls by the refs were absolutely terrible pre-replay.

                    If all your concerned with is advertising space and filling yoru time slot, that's all it's there for.
