Because of Hatton's characteristics (a "brawler", but a fast one, throwing with angles) Floyd will have to throw more punches than he did in a long time. He can win, because he is a great fighter and because Hatton is too often open for counters.

However I think (and obviously hope) that this is going to be a GREAT fight, if PBF is going to be in a FOTY, this is it.

I dont even care who wins, because as much as I like Floyd in the ring, Hatton looks such a likeable honest guy out of the ring (remember him talking about Zoo's reign in front of the whole of Manchester Arean? great moment)

I look forward to this, I am happy as a kid

Ridiculous. On his absolute best day, Gatti would've been lucky to beat Hatton.

every other fighter that floyd has faced has been able to put floyd up against the ropes, mainly because floyd backs up and goes there himself, but hatton should have no problem with getting on the inside with floyd. the question is, can hatton keep him there? or will floyd hop out to the side and go to the other side of the ring, again and again........................

How the hell can Hatton get close to PBF when backpedaling PBF is faster than sprinting Hatton?

I think PBF will win a boring and easy unanimous decision, unless he decides to change his safety-first style and go toe-to-toe with smaller Hatton.

          Side Note:

When I was watching the Vazquez vs. Marquez and Morales vs. Diaz fights last night, I was thinking,

"These guys actually spend most of their energy on puching. In the future, I hope these guys will get paid as well as so-calleld ELITE boxers who spend more energy on running than on punching."

Your underrating the hell out of Hatton's movement and footspeed, also his ability to close distance. It's one of his strongest qualities.

It'll probably be like Forrest-Baldo, except Floyd won't throw as much. He will simply duck out and run to the other side of the ring, repeat.

Well what the **** does he do when he is on the ropes and ducks out....HE RUNS TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING, HE SURE AS HELL DOESN'T CRAWL THERE AND HE SURE AS HELL DOESN'T TURN AROUND TO THE BACK OF HIS OPPONENT AND TRADE.

I didn't mean it as an insult to begin with.

I hope Hatton has taken into consideration how fast PBF is backpeddling. In sparring Hatton should be facing little backpeddlers. BUt once Hatton gets PBF he should hold onto him like a leech and not let him get away.
