this would be an awesome fight at 140, i give the edge to hatton because of speed
ricky hatton vs julio cesar chavez @ 140?

I think he was talking about the original JCC, which is even more of a joke. JCC was an animal at 140. Hatton wouldn't stand a chance. That is like saying Jermain Taylor vs. Marvin Hagler would be a close, good fight.

id think it would be a very close fight but boxrec nerds are looking at jcc record and thinking wow but chavez was like robinson and ppl like that fighting bums of the month and **** like that , i aint discredeting chavez cause the guys a legend but if he fought good/solid/great opposition all the time hed have alot more losses and alot less fights cause of the breaks in between fights that wud be neededComment

an animal that lost to frankie randall...JCC was slow and easy to hit, far from an animal...and im not a boxrec nerd, ive seen enough of JCC to know this guy was nothing specialLast edited by dino; 08-05-2007, 06:17 PM.Comment

Well like people have said, he hurt Meldrick Taylor badly in the 12th after Taylor had given him all he had for 10+ rounds. He also beat Hector Camacho. And it's not like Ricky Hatton is a ****ing slick boxer either, he's not exactly the hardest thing to hit. So let me see, you've seen Chavez and he's nothing special, and you are saying you've seen Hatton and he is a boxer for the ages? Sweet anaylsis.Comment

Chavez By KO to the body. HAtton was hurt with Urango to the body, Chavez was one of the greatest body punchers.
Hatton trys to fight inside he would get beat in 4.Comment
