Marquez didnt have enough left. Vasquez is one of those rare breeds, he's like a god damn ****in portuguese horse, lol dude is is just durable to the "T." Later the fight gets, stronger he gets, especially against a fighter like Marquez. He's like a lil Mexican version of the incredible hulk lol. More you piss him off, the more dangerous he gets.
Marquez has the skill and power to take him out, but he lacks the defense to grant himself more oppertunities, and Nacho is too offensive minded for Marquez's good. You can see it in that offenseive stance thats implemented in both Marquez brothers. When Marquez was hurt, his only mental option was to apply careless offense as opppose to 'disciplined' offense.
Not sayin he should give up Nacho Berenstain but he should definantly invest in some defense training.
As for Vasquez, I think due to the first stoppage of him quitting early (if you couldnt breathe out your nose, and your nose was the main target throughout...you'd know when to call it quits too.) It will leave him as one of the most under-rated fighters of all time. He's as durable as Winky and as diciplinened as Hopkins. He'll go down as one of the most under-rated fighter's of all time, he's like a miniture amry tank. Give him some defense aswell, and he'd be renowned charactor in the sport. If he had any sense of defense, he woulda been intrigued to move up in weight aswell..
All in all, great ****in fight. Vasquez won like I thought he would and Marquez showed up with the heart.
If a 3rd fight happens, I wouldnt be brave enough to choose a winner. Marquez' camp is intelligent, and Vasquez himself is durable, i'd only bet on the one that comes in with the best defense training.
