age-wise Vargas is still good, but the truth is that his prime was beat out of him in some very rough fights, there's no way he's the same guys who was in there with Quartey.

That MAY be true. Fernando may have taken to much punishment, but until I see this Mayorga fight I'm sticking to my guns that he just came completely unprepared against Mosley 2. No need for excuses, but that could be a reason people say he's "shot."

Haha @ Vargas is "just tough." Vargas is a superior BOXER to Mayorga and probably even a superior Brawler. Vargas has both skill sets. Mayorga doesn't. Mayorga is ******. Vargas is intelligent. With that being said.. Whats the logical answer to the winner of this fight?

that's it in a nutshell. but it's not what we usually get in boxing and its good entertainment. cant wait for the prefight events, allthough im not that excited about the fight ill still watch it.

Don't get me wrong, the fight itself could have some fireworks. But this is the type of bull**** is what it takes to sell fights these days. And it wasn't funny to me, it was just two class B fighters pumping up their chests with ****ing "Why hasn't somebody stomped my ass out with the questions I ask" Jim Gray running the interview. I can't STAND that ***got... Enough with my rant.
