Remember that Diaz is not the judges or the ref.
The tendency is to boo or trash the fighter who got a "gift" decision, but it was not his fault it happened.
If crowds want to boo a decision, lay it on the judges and possibly a bad ref (if there happens to be one in a fight), not on the boxers in the ring.

Seems some feel Morales won, and others feel Diaz did enough. The old saying is "you have to take it from the champion" pretty clearly to win over a beltholder.

IF the crowd at the arena are unhappy with the decision, they boo to let their feelings be known. That is their only means of expressing their feelings, to let the officials know. It doesn't have to be aimed at the fighter personally, it's just the only way of saying "this is wrong."

Unless you have some other clever way of letting the world know that an injustice has just been done by the judges, right then and there?
