Id hate to BASH on the WRITERS AND showoff at the same time, but here i go...

I read A TON of articles and RING MAGAZINE stuff, and got PLENTY of opinions from people here on BOXINGSCENE and AIM.

And im not hating on you guys or anything, but especially from the writers of RING MAGAZINE, who said "As much as we'd like to see a rematch, does Vazquez really stand a chance?"

And you really got the feeling that they gave Vazquez little chance of winning the fight or having nearly has much success as he did in the first fight.

Well i saw it different and many others were with me on this. That Left could the body hurt Marquez a few times, and VAZQUEZ's left hook upstairs has to be one of the most dangerous punches in boxing right now.

I pictured an ending very similar to that, but i thought it would happen at the end of the fight after tons of body work.

Just an astonishing perforance and an absolute classic of a fight.

The only difference between this fight and the first fight is that Vasquez developed a defense, while Marquez didn't.

I knew Vazquez would win after the first round when I saw Vasquez using head movement.

Going into the fight, I was of the same opinion as alot of people. Marquez really dominated the first fight with his jab, I thought he was going to do it again, especially after Freddy Roaches comments about Vasquez starting to slur his words.

I was wrong, and Vasquez was awesome. From what I saw, he hurt Marquez atleast once a round, and took the steam off of Marquez' punches by turning his head with them Roberto Duran style.

He used effective head movement, and kept his hands high, and it made the difference in this fight.

I feel the exact same way...

Ring magazine said Marquez dominated the first fight. This is simply not true.

Ring magazine are Marquez nut-huggers, they have him P4P #3 or 2 and they thought he would destroy Vasquez, I always knew if Vazquez is 100% he will beat Marquez every single time. Vazquez hts harder and he has the better chin.

So in my opinion Ring Magzaine is a joke, they can shove their belt up their asses too.

I don't want to brag and gloat either, but I was telling everyone who would listen that Marquez was going to get stopped by Vazquez if he was in top form. It played out like I thought it would, I thought Marquez won some rounds and had his moments but I always felt Vazquez was mentally and Physically tougher and would wear him down because he could absorb more punishment. I picked Vazquez from the start.

I actually thought Vazquez could've won the first fight and was starting to take over when he decided he couldn't continue.

I even put money on this fight and won about $1000 on this one fight alone. I bet on Vazquez to win via KO.

they both said they wanted to do it. It's all promoters now. I actually think Vazquez seemed very excited about it, while marquez was more about pride and revenge, he said he wasn't even hurt.
