        Square,

If you haven't seen that from Floyd, then you JUST started watching boxing.

I agree in that people are overdoing the whole thread making ordeal........but I don't approve of Floyd's antics. Here's exactly why and it's the epitome of why people have a problem with his personality.

Kenny: Floyd......Baldomir is the actual champion at 147. How can

          *Floyd interrupts*

Floyd: Let me ask you, Let me ask you something Kenny. How much money do you make?

Kenny: What does that have to do with anything Floyd?

Floyd: Just answer the question Kenny, Answer it.

Kenny: Probably not as much as you, Floyd.

Floyd: There we go! Step yo game up baby. Step yo game up!
          Floyd was being a ****.

Still, I have heard other athletes talk about how the media knows every detail of every penny that THEY make, but nobody knows what the reporters, managers, promoters, etc make.

          That is an information imbalance.

by the way, LOL @ "probably".

who has floyd been competitive with that's on his level? corrales wasn't on his level...castillo fight, i'll give him that one, but dlh has been the only fighter who is on his level that he has fought, besides zab judah... and he stuck and moved vs dlh, I don't hate that, I just wanted to see him and dlh slug it out and they didn't because Floyd was afraid to do that...

As a boxing fan, you wanted to see a 140 fighter with the best skills in the game "slug it out" with a 154+ fighter.

Does that make sense to you? It doesn't make sense to me. That is the equivalent of asking why Shaq doesn't bring the ball upcourt or why Iverson doesn't play the low post.

It was OSCAR's job as the much bigger man to DRAW PBF into a war. It was PBF's job as the smaller, slicker fighter to make it a boxing match. Oscar failed. Floyd has the right approach: win first, entertain second.

When PBF fights guys his size, he can and does slug. When he is fighting a guy 15-20 pounds bigger, it would be reckless to slug. Do you not understand this? Hatton went up SEVEN pounds and said that the welterweights are too big for him.

Here are the Mayweather fights that I remember that he was very offensive aggressively: Genaro, Famoso, Goyo, Corrales (though he circled), Gatti, Judah, Corley, Ndou, Manfredy, etc...

Sorry that the ODLH fight disappointed you. I thought PBF fought the smart fight.

Then why did he promise the fans, and Oscar, that he would? It's one thing to stick and move, it's another to talk like you want to slug and promise everyone you're going to slug, get in the ring and become a slickster vs a guy who's been stopped.

Good that you bring up the Corely fight though, that is one fight MW got too offensive in and he paid for it, though I wouldn't exactly consider Corely a guy who's near Floyd in terms of talent or status, then, now , or ever....Same goes with the rest of those guys...In fact every guy you just listed was a tailor made, chosen fighter by Floyd's camp knowing they'd win. Yeah, Corely, he tagged floyd pretty good..maybe that's why floyd hesitated to fight like that with dlh...

He is competitive with everyone, all the floyd haters, or ppl who dnt like his style said, Chico gonna knock him out, Castillio gonna knock him out, oscar gonna knock him out, no1 is knock him out as of yet, and he doesnt get credit, everyone says he is a runner, boxing is about hitting WITHOUT being HIT, if you dont get hit u dnt lose fights simple as, and the castillio fight 1? show me scorecards if u think he won, i made a post about this a few months ago and 1 person said he thot floyd lost the fight, and didnt have a scorecard!

Cause controversy makes the sport of boxing more popular. Thats why PBF is the way he is because then alot of people would watch boxing. Like someone said b4 Ali James Toney Prince naseem Hamed and planty of other fighters alk ****. Its all about makeing money will trying to prove that ur the best.

DLH was 20 pounds heavier then PBF in that fight and on top of that DLH is naturally bigger and stronger. This is the reason why PBF wasn't gonna slug it out with DLH. He did tell everyone he was BUT maybe that would have happned if DLH came in during fight night weighing the same as PBF
