But Barrera had his balls robbed off in his first fight against Morales. I've seen the fight before but I watched it again this morning this time closely and Barrera definitely did enough to get the descision. Even without that knockdown. The rounds he won were much more descive, and the rounds Morales won barring a few were relatively close and could have been scored even, maybe even for Barrera. ****ty judging. The referre did the right thing giving Barrera that knockdown even probably knowing it wasn't legitimate, I need to get that ref's name, that guy is awesome.

One of the judges in this fight had Morales winning like 9 rounds, he had him something like 4 points ahead even with a Barrera 2 point round.

obviously he had job there was to score the fight for Morales no matter what. Alot of times you see that, one judge no matter what will score in favor in one fighter, sometimes even there's one of those judges for each fighter.

But the guy who had it 114-113 for Morales, a score that sounds but in reality is definitely not any more reasonable sets a horrible precedent for judging considering the style of this fight.

very wrong outcome for that fight, on the other hand i had morales winning fight #2, so i guess it evens out 2-1 for MAB anyways

I think Barrera won it down the stretch by winning four of the last five rounds. His body punching cant be overlooked. That and he got the better of every single exchange I thought. Morales won the middle rounds by being active, and boxing more. It's a hard fight to judge but Barrera landed the harder shots. He had Morales rocked at least three times. Robbery is too strong a word, but Barrera should have gotten a draw at the very least, and if you count the kd (which I never do) he should not have lost.

I agree, the crazy thing is, I don't think I recognized the judge who scored it for Barrera, but Carol Castellano and Dalby Shirley were the ones who scored it for Morales. The robbery in part 2 of their trilogy made it even though, and then Barrera clearly won the third fight, meaning that both the judging and the reality made it 2-1 for MAB.

I was JUST ABOUT TO MAKE A THREAD ON THIS!!! LOL!!!

I completely 100% agree with you. Barrera won by maybe 2 or 3 rounds, and the KD clinched it.

And a side note, that 12th round KNOCKDOWN, In My Opinion, WAS A KNOCKDOWN. Morales was JUST hurt very badly. Was reeling around the ring until he bent over and had to go to a knee cause he was so exhausted and hurt.

Barreras bumping into Morales had nothing to do with it
