I'm just looking at this fight from a different angle.

I know they havn't been a problem for floyd in the past few fights, but dont underestimate Hatton's chin and durability. If you think Floyd is going to knock him out by throwing and landing 1 punch you terribly mistaken. Its going to take an accumulation of punches THROWN and LANDED.
The thing is.. Mayweather will only throw the ammount of punches he always does. Sure, he could be pressured into throwing 50 to 100 more. I doubt it, but maybe. He never had knockout power, in terms of when he moved up in weight, anyway. So, he always throws the same, and with the same power, or lack there of. I doubt Hattons head is any harder than DLH or Baldamir's... Especially Baldi's. Carlos may be a punching bag, but the bag is full of rucks.

      1. Hatton will make Mayweather throw a LOT of punches

      2. Mayweather hurt his hand less than a year ago against Baldomir

1+2 = hands might be a problem, i hope they are not, just like I hope Hatton doesnt cut

Floyd's gonna need to bring a bat with him if he has a slight glimmer of hope that he's going to KO Hatton.

If a guy thats 27-3-13 can put your ass on the canvas then what can a guy do thats 38-0-24?

Collazo is not known for being a puncher.

Mayweather barely threw punches in the Oscar fight... If he throws more then 25 a round I give him 5 rounds before something goes wrong. However this isn't gonna happen because he will run and pop shot all night.

Good call, no one seems to remember that.

However, he hasn't seriously hurt his hands for a very long time. The only time I can remember in his career where his hands were absolutely ****ed was againt Carlos Hernandez back when he was fighting at 130.

It wasnt even a legit KD.. It was more of a balance issue.

It has been said that since PBF brought in Rafael Garcia, his hands have been fine. Interestingly, I just saw Rafael in the corner for Erik when I watched Barrera-Morales this morning.

Baldomir has the best chin Mayweather has ever been up against, and Mayweather MAY have SLIGHTLY hurt his hand. That doesn't bode well for Hatton.
