AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Isnt it funny that everytime Floyd signs the deal too fight someone all the pbf haters pop up and start talking about how his opponent gonna whoop him and how his opponent has the style too beat him, it happened when he fought gatti judah baldomir delahoya and now hatton, face the facts PBF is history in the making and no fighter in this era will beat him the only way he will loose is if he hangs around in the game too longComment

He's Fighting Hatton right now, He fought DLH, Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, Corrales, Castillo, Chavez, N'dou, Hernandez, Bruseles..
And at the time those fighters were big threats in his division. If he's such a coward why does he take the fights that the public wants then?
your talking out of your ass...

N'Dou and Bruseles were not considered threats in their divisions, Baldomir was considered to be more of a lucky champion than a worthy one, Judah was coming off a loss. Gatti was Gatti, De La Hoya nearly beat him. Don't get me wrong, Floyd has had a stellar career but you're claiming every victory to be great, when it just isn't the case. He's Fighting Hatton right now, He fought DLH, Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, Corrales, Castillo, Chavez, N'dou, Hernandez, Bruseles..

when Floyd fought N'Dou he hadn't lost a fight in 5 years.. If your going to consider Baldomir a Fluke then Judah was still legit win..N'Dou and Bruseles were not considered threats in their divisions, Baldomir was considered to be more of a lucky champion than a worthy one, Judah was coming off a loss. Hagler nearly Beat Leonard just like DLH nearly beat Floyd but it's still counts as a loss for both of them in the record books no matter how you scored the fightComment

If you are going to be critical...BE FAIR.
ROLE MODEL FOR KIDS: Stay away from drugs, work super-hard, become the best at what you do, and all your dreams can be realized. Is that a bad ethic to teach your kids? He's an awesome person and great role model for young kids isn't he?
The way he carries himself and how he has nothing but respectful things to say about other fighters, trainers, and key figures in the sport?
It's just great how he has a fan friendly style as well isn't it?
What a guy! Everyone should be a fan of Floyd Mayweather Jr!
Who is perfect? Would a beer-guzzling, pub crawler who balloons in weight be a good role model for your kids?
FAN FRIENDLY STYLE: Are you one of the many "boxing fans" who saw Mayweather for the FIRST time last year? That would be disappointing. Because Mayweather made his name on Boxing After Dark. He is an exciting fighter with a KO style at his own weight. And in the same way that Hatton couldn't hurt Collazo, Mayweather doesn't stand in front of much bigger men. He does what it takes to win.
Would you prefer him to have stayed at LW/JWW and dominated the bustas down there? Do you think that Genaro, manfredy, Chavez, Gatti, Sharmba, Bruseles, NDou, etc have issues with Floyd's offensive production? Did YOU have issues with how he fought Judah?
Is Pernell not a 'great"? What is Willie Pep known for? Wouldn't Malinaggi have done better by fighting his own fight instead of being lured into a Cotto slugfest he couldn't win?
RESPECTFUL THINGS TO SAY: Are you familiar with the history of the sport? Only in recent years, with the advent of politically correct fighters trying to get endorsements, have fighters been playing nice-nice with each other. And trying to put this media-friendly face to the public. Ali called Frazier "a gorilla", an "Uncle Tom" and much worse. This was the same Frazier who gave Ali money (TRUE STORY) when Ali was suspended.
Sugar Ray Leonard was as arrogant as they come. He had Hagler's whole team, and an arena full of people come in just so that he can announce that they will NOT fight. Just to stroke his own massive ego.
George Foreman (first version) was a very brutal man.
Arturo Gatti assaulted an old man... and has several DUI's. Putting other people's life at risk.
Jake LaMotta beat his wife.
Oscar Delahoya has multiple children out of wedlock...and has been the subject of **** allegations. He settled by paying the woman.
Evander Holyfield had THREE children by other women WHILE he was married and living with his wife.
Shane, Vargas, Evander, Klitschko, etc have all taken illegal performance enhancers
Mike Tyson and Bernard Hopkins used to rob people on the street.
Marco Antonio Barrera punched Morales at a press conference without provocation. Is punching worse than talking?
My point is that you are taking one facet of this guy's personality and crucifying him for that. It would be great to be perfect like you, but the reality is that most people - and especially boxers - are not.
I'm sorry. With all due respect, your post just did not make sense.Comment

Absolutely NOT!! Like every fighter, PBF has suspect names or "stay busy" fights on his record. I don't think you really want to compare PBF's resume to Hatton's (for example).
When Floyd fought suspect competition, he did what he was supposed to. I knew that Sharmba had no chance. He was faded. PBF walked him down, and stopped him with hard shots. Haymon said that they made that fight because they had another speedy southpaw on the horizon (Judah). In that context, it made sense. Especially when you see that PBF beat Judah using the Sharmba gameplan.
PBF moved up in weight. Got a controversial decision vs Castillo. What did he do? Rematched JLC immediately to prove who the better man was.
Hatton moved up in weight. Got a controversial decision vs Collazo. What did HE do? He SAID that he would give Collazo a rematch...but went back down and fought someone named Juan Urango.
...and, with all due respect, Castillo in his prime was a MUCH better fighter than Collazo will ever be.Comment
