    My FINAL Vazquez-Marquez Prediction. Yours?

I just re-watched their first fight.

And before i did i was picking Marquez by Decision.

But now im picking Vazquez by Knockout in the very late rounds, maybe 11 or even 12. It could definetly go to the cards though.

Anyway, Vazquez was doing some GREAT body work in the 5th and 6th rounds. He hurt Marquez once or twice to the body and you could tell cause Marquez would completely lay off Vazquez for a couple of seconds.

If Marquez' jab is on target, and he uses it a lot, it'll be hard for Vazquez to get anywhere near close enough to work the body.

But in the first round, Marquez used his jab very well but was still probably losing the round until he was able to catch Vazquez flush.

Anyway, Marquez is a Mexican fighter and i fully expect him to be drawn into the a brawl by the mid rounds.

Marquez will probably be dominant until the mid rounds when the momentum slowly goes in favor of Vazquez cause Vazquez will be slowin Marquez down.

Then, and I KNOW this is a wild shot, but this is how i see the fight ending. Vazquez will have Marquez along the ropes after having landed a great body shot, and as Marquez attempts to escape from the ropes VAZQUEZ will land a winging shot and that'll be the beggining of the end. Vazquez will just open up and then it'll be stopped.

Long shot i know, but thats the image i have stuck in my head.

Thats a fair prediction. I think Rafa gets the desicion. Jabbing his way to a desicion, and keeping Izzy away the whole time.

I'm with you on this one KBALL. I think Vazquez will take Marquez into the later rounds and TKO him. Its gonna be a violent fight and Vazquez is gonna wear down Marquez with those vicious body shots and those left hooks upstairs.

At first I had a late TKO win for Marquez, but I've read that Vasquez may of taken this rematch too soon. Now I say it will be an early KO win for Marquez.

I made a post a couple days ago with a similar prediction. I think Marquez is going to box the whole fight or at least as long as he can before Vazquez catches up to him in the late rounds. Vazquez is going to be down on points, but I get the feeling he'll drop Marquez, perhaps put him out. I'll share your prediction for a KO in 11 so long as Marquez doesn't box him to a decision.

BUT...I just learned this week that Vazquez dumped Freddie Roach. So, with that said, Marquez wins a decision is my official pick.

This fight is up for grabs. Both can punch and both are good boxers, but Marquez has the confidence to do it.He has the mental edge cause he knows that he can hurt Vasquez!

you don't think Marquez was hurt from the left hook that put him down. he even wobbled after he got up, but he was so pissed he didn't notice.

Yeah he was hurt. But the fact that Vasquez couldn't go on gave Marquez a boost of confidence!
