    Why is a man who lost 3 of his last 5 still a PPV draw?

    If Oscar comes back I will not pay to see him fight. His next fight better be on boxing after dark. His celebrity has everyone paying to see him fight. Why? His last five fights where:

    1.Mayweather= a bit competitive but lost
    2.Mayorga= won by Ko after Trinidad KO'd him
    3.Hopkins= lost by Ko
    4.Felix Sturm= we know what happened there
    5.Shane Mosley= Lost for the 2nd time

    I would say the same for Tito if he came back. These fighters need to earn their shot. They are returning and leaving the ring as they please and getting hell of lots of money everytime they fight. Its disrespectful to other active fighters who have been looking for a chance for years.

                Seeing the pics you display I can tell why your hating on Oscar DeLaHoya. Facts are, yes he lost against the last 3 of 4 opponents he fought but who has fought that level of opposition, other than Oscar? The Shane Mosley 2 fight he should have won, you know this, I know this, everyone knows this. He K.O'd Mayorga, no matter what Trinidad did to him before or after. He was ahead on all score cards before Hopkins hit him with a devastating body shot. And yes I will admit he got the call against Sturm.

                Against PBF he was more than just a little competative. It was a masterful display of boxing by BOTH fighters. He fought a guy who NOBODY has been able to beat and made PBF go backwards the entire fight. If Oscar didn't press that fight, there wouldn't have been a fight. And he did all that above the age of 30 when most fighters careers are FINISHED.

                To answer your question of why he's sucha draw still, is because he is still compaetative in every fight. See, no matter hwat you may think, if a fighter can't compete at a certian level anymore, people will eventually stop watching him. That can happen to even DLH but the difference is he is smart and understands he doesn't want to be like Larry Holmes vs Tyson or Ali vs Larry Holmes. He will know when to quit and that's what seperates DLH form 99.9% of fighter in todays game.

                I give him so puch props because he has given us the fights we have wanted to see and never backed away from anyone. Most fighters won't do that and it's obvious that DLH doesn't fight for money anymore. He is fighting for the love and his legacy. I personaly don't think the loss to Mayweather hurt his legacy because he was just more than a "little" competative. He boxed with the greatest boxer of our time at the age of 34 soon to be 35 for 12 rounds and made a very good showing of himself. You can hate all you want but the facts are DLH still has something left in that 34 year old tank of his.
