I spoke to Ashley Theophane, a British Welter over in the states sparring presently, he trains with Guzman and has sparred him. Says he has moves that make him smile because they're so good.

He doesn't know how he will make Super-Feather ever again, he's presently around 155.

Guzman has good power now but had monster power at 122. He's a very good boxer/puncher & I think he'll beat Soto.

Guzman has incredible raw talent. He's very athletic. Yes, he's been known to keep his hands low but I always said that if he could just get a really good trainer on his side he'd be one of the best.

And now he has Mayweather Sr. training him. I think he'll focus more on improving his defense (keeping his hands up, etc.) and fix some of the technical flaws he may have had.

If he can do that, then I don't see any reason why he cant be one of the best.
