Mayweather Vs. Hatton: Who has more power?

I'm wondering what you think I'm getting mixed messages from both of their fans. Now I'm favoring Mayweather. I think he's the harder puncher. And I think what adds to his power is his accuracy. Hatton I believe is a stiffer puncher. And I think he smothers his puches somewhat due to his inside style. Now Hatton has more KO's than Mayweather but it doesn't really mean he has the greater power. As far as body punches I give Hatton the upperhand. But overall I would have to go with Floyd.

I think Floyd is P4P the harder puncher. At there weight class? IDK. Its close but people forget that Floyd was stopping guys at 140 also. It all depends I guess. For the most part Hatton commits way more to his power punches and he throws alot more power shots then Floyd because of there 2 different styles so from that view you have to favor Hatton.

Floyd actually has more power at 140, believe it or not... Ricky's knock out ratio isn't all that, just decent..

I think PBF's power is under-rated but he doesn't have more power than Hatton at jrWW or WW. While Hatton is definitely not a 1 punch KO guy he does have good power. Its more like the Castillo's or Margarito's power that wears you down.

Just think about the Gatti fight where PBF landed a ghastly number of clean power shots that he sat on. Gatti was punished but he didn't go down.

Imagine if Hatton would've landed those same shots in the same quantity. Gatti would've definitely hit the canvas at least once.

they might even have the same identical power, but due to their styles results of their punches are so different. I lean towards Ricky, but not very intensely

This also pertains to their fight at 147. I think Hatton should be worried about Floyd's power more than Floyd should have to worry about Hatton's. I think Floyd won't be as cautious as with DLH. Therefore I look for him to be more active earlier on than in the DLH fight.

And I think Floyd fully extends all the way through on his punches, which give him more pop.

Hatton has loads more power imho. Of course this may not mean a damn thing in the fight.

I dont know about that. Floyd definatly landed on Gatti but I still wouldnt say that he sat down on them. He was always in a position like he was going to move if Gatti moved. Also, Gatti is a pretty big guy and can take a solid punch. It took Oscar a little while to get him out of there and thats when Oscar was huge and Gatti had no business at 147
