yea, but at the same time...win or lose...Floyd would either rematch, win or lose or go back down and fight Hatton...either way Hatton's camp was lookin at it as a win-win situation...and to them there's no shame in losing to Oscar, but also would look great on his opponent's resume on who he's beaten.....

another thing is....floyd said Hatton called him out...and thats why he came out of retirement..but fromwhat Ray Hatton ahs just said...1. Floyd never had anyintention of retiring...it was all a fabrication...2. Hatton calling him out..wasplanned..just like a story...and he knew floyd would come out n say something, and contracts would be signed...floyd didnt comeout of retirement cus he was caleld out..he fabricated it..and came out of retirement to play up to this story board both camps had created...its sickening if its true..which it sounds liek it is...it makes boxing no better then that fake ass WWE stuff.

It looks very contrived...just as DHL Vs PBF was...I really hope it isnt..and this is all rubbish...but if this is true.....it does make me rethink buying this fight...especially when i think of the DHL Vs PBF fight..and the obviously made up fued before thatfight..and then the laclustre fight to follow it

These days, most people will make up or say anything.

To me, as long as they hit each other for real in the ring, I'll watch it.

DLH for Mayweather was far far far from a safe fight. Mayweather won, but Oscar wasn't exactly a push over. DLH was the fight that Mayweather wanted for years not Hatton, sure his payday for fighting Ricky is a nice one, but not as good as his last one.

Castillo was a very safe fight for Hatton.

Ricky Hatton fought a highly regarded but past his sell-by-date fighter called Castillo. Floyd fought a highly regarded but past his sell-by-date fighter called Oscar De La Hoya. Ricky fought a guy who was huge for the weight but of limited skill called Juan Urango, Floyd fought a guy who was huge for the weight but of limited skill call Carlos Baldomir. Ricky fought a slick southpaw who had him in difficulty in parts of the fight called Luis Collazo. Floyd fought a slick southpaw who had him in difficulty in parts of the fight called Zab Judah.

And the more I think about it the more I realize that Oscar's only chance against Hatton would be an early KO. If he doesn't manage it by the fourth round Hatton wins by decision.
