Why aren't people excited about Vasquez-Marquez 2?

lol Cause everyones on Hatton and Mayweather, I don't know why though. So Mayweather chooses another soft fight. What else is new, I could understand all this talk if it was Cotto vs Floyd or somthin..



But I been waitin for saturdays fight all month. Raf is hands down my all time favorite.

Vasquez is a tank though, starts off slow but gets strong down the stretch. I don't think theres anyone in the lower weights that can take him out late. Marquez has the punch to do so, but he kinda fades.

And the knock down in the first fight was because Vasquez was holding Marquez's left arm, when Marquez tried to hop back like he was doin all night, he couldnt, lol Vasquez made him eat a left. But after that, Marquez was able to take his shots. But it also looked like Raf was losin strength and Vasquez was gettin closer..

I'm hopin Marquez wins, but somthin tells me Vasquez will take this one.

I think the fight will start off with Vasquez trying to take an early lead. He might have the "I have to prove myself" mentality to start off and then I see him getting into a rhythm and Marquez trying to find ways to successfully counter, which I think he will.

As excited as I am to attend the Diaz-Morales fight here in Chicago, I really want to see Marquez-Vasquez....their first fight was ****ing awesome. I hope Marquez takes it again.....I will checking into to some OnDemand action for that one, even though this board will ruin the outcome for me, haha.

If Vasquez tries to come out like that, I think Raf can catch him with somthin vicious. Raf is poise and precise early, anything careless from Vasquez and Marquez will exploit it fast with counters and leads.

lmfao exactly, I was watchin the replay last night on showtime before I went to sleep, still yellin in the back of my head. "Why didnt you do this!? Why didnt you do that!?"

But yeah, its gonna be a good weekend for boxing.

Wont be able to see the fight until Tuesday or Wednesday, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. I see Marquez winning by TKO again except this time it will be a couple rounds later.

The first fight was very good, but a bit overrated in my opinion. The judges scored it close, but I just watched the replay and thought Marquez won every round but the third, and without the knockdown he would have won that round. Vazquez next best round was, to my way of thinking, the 7th, the round before he quit, which was very anti-climactic. All reasons why that fight shouldn't be considered Fight of the Year...

That being said, the first fight did have very good back and fourth and Vazquez has the power to keep things interesting. Saturday's fight very well could be the FotY and I AM excited about it...

Unfortunately I cancelled my Showtime subscription a couple mths ago. I wish I still had it this fight is going to be a pure war
