    Former British heavyweight champion Julius Francis (23-24, 12KOs), who lost his last 14 fights, is making his MMA debut on Sept. 22 for Cage Rage at the Wembley Arena. Some of the fighters to beat him have been Mike Tyson, Oleg Maskaev and Matt Skelton. [details]

      well, if he learns how to defend himself on the ground, he should do good. He said he was a kickboxer as well.

            Haha... Why do bad boxers think they'll do well in MMA? If you are a ****ty boxer, you're going to be even ****tier in MMA as you are going to be even worse at the non-striking stuff.

              Francis is over the hill, but he wasn't as bad as his 23-24 record suggests. He was a good stepping stone for young fighters, and pretty durable except against tyson.

              Most likely he's just taking a payday in MMA like Mercer on a smaller scale.

                  He is about 40, fat and slow as a hedgehog stuck in treacle, plus he is one of a few boxers ive ever seen who goes down for the count writhing in pain rather than having to be knocked down.
                  Plus, remember when he fought Tyson he sold advertising space on the soles of his boots!

                    no idea how he made it as a pro

                    he must throw about 5 punches a round
