Prediction (Poll): How many PPV buys will Mayweather-Hatton do?

Personally I think it will be in the 500k-750k range, though I wouldn't be surprised if it cracked the 750K mark.

if they do the 24/7 thing it could do 1 Million + only if they really push it. If not about 400-600k.

Hate to brake it to you but most of the American Public who saw Oscar v. Floyd won't buy the fight because 1. either they were on Oscar's side or 2. they didnt like Floyd fighting style, and thought the fight was boring.

It will have far lower views than Oscar v. Floyd

There's a few factors going into this fight:

                1. Race war. Hate to admit it, but white vs black ALWAYS sells.
                2. Both are undefeated.
                3. Nationality war. USA vs GB.

And most importantly, never underestimate the hatred towards Floyd Mayweather. A lot of people will pay to see him lose.

Given all that, this fight still won't do above a million buys. Though it should safely crack the 500K mark, and that's probably being generous.

you guys are ignoring the international markets I take it then? I wonder how many buys there will be in the UK - probably 100k+ I'd imagine, although we don't pay 60 dollars for our ppv usually.

The Tszyu fight did 205k and it wasn't that heavily promoted.

Do we even know it will be PPV in the UK?
