    Mayweather-Hatton Betting Line

    Opening line at SkyBet:

    Mayweather: 4/9

    Hatton: 13/8

    Draw: 16:1

Essentially, Mayweather is anywhere from a 2.7 to 1 up to a 3: 1 favourite.

Las Vegas Hilton sports book director Jay Kornegay said Mayweather will be at least a minus-250 favorite over Hatton.

It's still early, so they haven't posted the over/under yet. My guess is that the O/U will be 10 rounds.

DOES HATTON AS A 3:1 UNDERDOG SEEM RIGHT?

Its gonna be a very intersting line to watch and see how it moves. I think Hatton's popularity will keep it from getting TOO big but that depends on how confident they are on Hatton.

The props will be very very interesting aswell.

I thought the same thing. ESPECIALLY since sports betting is illegal in most of the US, but is legal throughout most of Europe..

Hatton-ites will artificifially tighten the line. This should be a 3:1 or 4:1 fight for Mayweather. But the betting line will tighten, which makes it easy money for the late, smart money on Floyd.

Hey, I hope the Mancunians bet it down to even money!!

Wasn't he a bigger underdog against Kostya???? I think it was 4:1.

Great Britain Rules For Now - Tszyu/Kostya Recap
by Jeremy "Fasttalker" Bjornberg - 06/06/2005

In a shocking upset, Kostya Tszyu was battered into quitting on his stool after 11 rounds by Ricky Hatton. Kostya came off as a 2.5 to 1 underdog and seemed to be well prepared to beat Hatton. Kostya made a brave move by going to England for the battle to fight their best fighter. I didn't think Hatton had the kind of talent to dominate Kostya but he was definitely up to the task.

where they fight at, size of the ring, the reff ,all will come into play the closer fight night gets.

i figure floyds going to **** ricky business wise like dlh did to him. so ricky might get concessions like getting to pick what size ring and who reffs.
