A joke? That's why he knocked Jose Luis Castillo out with 1 single punch breaking three of his ribs in the process? The same JLC who has never been floored as a professional? That's why he floored Collazo for the first time in his career storming out in the first round? How about how he was the only person to stop the durable fighter in Olivera who's never been stopped before or even remotely close to being hurt?
And of course I'm making this thread so that worthless, biased Floyd nuthuggers like you get up in arms..........because it bothers you.

Ok, first off Hatton does come into fights in great shape however I dont think he is the hardest working fighter out there. Guys like B-Hop, PBF, Mosley stay in good shape all year round.
There hard work throughout the year will enable them to have longer careers than somone like Hatton who ballons up terribly between fights and has low work ethic between fights.Comment

Ok, watch the Collazo fight again, Hatton clearly stepped on his foot.A joke? That's why he knocked Jose Luis Castillo out with 1 single punch breaking three of his ribs in the process? The Castillo body shot was sick, but you have to take into account how battle weary and over the hill JLC was. Regardless, a nice punch.
He decisioned Collazo and Urango, and both fights he looked unimpressive.
The fact that you have to resort to journeyman Ray Olivera to prove your argument just goes to show you got nothing.
Oh, and EMMANUEL AUGUSTUS stopped Ray Olivera.
Hatton is great, and has power, but for whatever reason you feel the need to exaggerate everything, and it makes you look a little foolish.Comment

Floyd, Bhop and sugar shane all work harder than him, you dnt see them goin to the pub and playing in a dart team like hatton does, and he also has 2 set of clothes, one for when he is in training and one set for when he is about 14 stone and not training, this will slow him down in later life in the ringComment

That fight was stopped prematurely jackass........in fact it was a controversial stoppage and Smoger was recieved huge heat for calling it and not letting Olivera continue when he was clearly coherent enough to fight. Then again.........you haven't even seen it yet you're discrediting one of the toughest journeymen in the sport who's taken beatings from dozens of quality fighters.
What's sad is you're comparing what Ricky did at 147 to how he's established himself at 140.
When people like you talk out of your ass........it annoys me.

Ricky says that he needs to get out of shape to get in shape! The first time he really blew up was Christmas 2002/New Year 2003, and he went on 'Superstars' as a fat pig and into camp for Phillips as basically just a fat bastard.
When he can't see his penis, it kickstarts his training camp and causes him to have a better camp. He says for the Pedersen and Vliches fights he stayed in-shape (from the Tackie and Pedersen fights) and it caused him to have the two worst performances of his career. Then he ate and drank like a tank throughout the summer, and was fatter and heavier than ever going into camp for the Stewart fight, and feels he was the sharpest he'd ever been in that fight!Comment
