    Cotto, Hatton, or Mayweather

Lets say Cotto beats Mosley, coming off a win over Judah

or Hatton beats Mayweather coming off a win over Castillo

or Mayweather beats Hatton coming off a win over De La Hoya

who gets fighter of the year?

Hatton and Mayweather have got it before, it is Cotto's time.

Cotto will also be the first one to KO Shane Mosley, wait and see.

If Hatton beats Mayweather no question he would be fighter of the year, #P4P 1 & Castillo should damn well earn you that. If Mayweather wins i feel he would have more chance than Cotto, that would be two great defeats to 1 if Cotto won. De La Hoya & Hatton > Mosley & Judah (as a pairing at the stage of there career).

If Hatton beats PBF, then he'll definitely be the favorite to win fighter of the year.

If PBF beats Hatton, then maybe he wins, but he's still got real competition from some other guys.

this isnt a ****y reply but....

beating Zab Judah and Shane Mosley isnt fighter of the year worthy? I think it is, especially if he KOs Mosley which i think he will surprise everyone and do.

              1) Hatton beating PBF gets my vote

Floyd is p4p#1, unbeaten, beat the men in 3 divisions, collected belts in 5, here in US he will a be a prohibitive favorite, and he might be the favorite in UK, too. Floyd losing at THIS point in his career would make a HUGE noise.

In fact, in the event that Hatton beat Mayweather in a very convincing fashion, he would be most likely become my p4p#1.

              followed by
              2) PBF beating Hatton. 140 is the only division where Mayweather did not beat THE champion, Hatton

              3) Cotto beating Judah and Mosley

              possibly others, too.
no one there to fight this year for paul williams, and the win over margarito is just not enough.

If Rafa beats Vazquez again, who could he fight before the end of the year?

Yea, havent watched it in a while tho, i need to get my hands on it again and study it. Mosley looked good tho i remember, he looked sharp. Only success i remember Collazo having is early he did land a pretty raw as$ straight left but Mosley took the shot no problem and kept fightng. thought Mosley put on a good performance against a good fighter.

If Cotto and Floyd win, Floyd deserves the fighter of the year. Judah and Zab already had 4 losses before going against Miguel. Great victories nonetheless, but Floyd would have beaten a P4P undefeated guy coming of a KO victory, and the most popular fighter in the sport in the biggest money fight in the sport's history after going up in weight. Floyd would clearly deserve the nod.

                    It's on youtube.

So you've seen this.. You know Shane is not in the state of decline that people who only caught the Vargas fights or further back are under the impression of..

Cotto is going to get wiped out. Shane is way too everything.
