There's been a few jibes thrown both ways. Hatton won't do the trash-talk type things but he may make comments to the press. The flow of effluence has largely been coming from Mayweather's mouth, with Hatton throwing the odd thing back. I mean the Russel Crowe - Sheryl Crow was quite funny but the other stuff was all "I'm a more exciting fighter than Floyd, Floyd's style is boring". Floyd's comments about "I'm going to knock him out, I'll punch him in his belly, he's not fit to mow my lawn, my shoes they have shiny buckles, he's a fat guy" are not really in the same league. If Floyd said "Once I've knocked him out I'll let him come to my house and fit carpets" then that would be witty. The "mow my lawn" is just trashy.

He's fighting the guy widely recognised as being the best pound for pound fighter in the world, he's a massive underdog and this is in boxing terms possibly the biggest matchup that could currently be made. The amount of noise about this fight is testament to how big a match this is.
