firstly we were talking about who would be stronger on the inside so your going off topic a little bit, any how im gonna reply to your points. i don't think there is a ww on earth that ricky hatton is scared of!

when hatton turned pro billy graham told him that he could dominate at one weight which is lw, the main reasons for this is prob that he is 5ft 6" and a 65" reach. (which means he would need a step ladder to hit paul williams!) When he fought collazo it was at 5 weeks notice and Graham was reluctant to take the fight from the start, i don't see that fight the way many people do, i think it was close but i think hatton just did enough on a night were it might have been easier to lose, he toughed it out.

im sure if the money was right he would fight all the other names you mentioned but every time he fights at ww he is giving up size unecessarily as he makes lwelt so easily and is dominant at the weight so i think its to his credit that he is fighting at ww. Win or lose id imagine we'l see hatton fight cotto, mosley, or de la hoya in the near future.(As long as he is competitive against floyd) You could also make that point to mayweather he could be fighting cotto, mosley, or williams, but instead he is fighting a big lwelt because it makes the most money so it works both ways.

Reason why I wouldn't say the same to Mayweather is because he fought guys like Boldimere DLH and JLC who were much bigger then him. Ricky almost lost to that bum in 147 then never fought at that division. What reason was there for him to run back to 140??? Is 147 to much for him? NOOO I mean come on he comes to fights weighing in at 150++. So believe me when I tell you this. He is a *****. A ***** who build his record fighting bums and now wants to fight PBF. Only reason he is fighting PBF is because he has alot of gain wich is cool. But if PBF wasnt't the number P4P Hatton would have duck him.

your making out that you have to fight bigger fighters to be considered great, aaron pryor only fought at lwelt, kostya tszyu never moved up in weight and one is in the hall of famer and the other will be (prob two best light welter in history), so i suppose their *******, none of your points are constructive! collazo is far from a bum you need to attain some more knowledge my friend. Hatton only fought at 147 at short notice because lazcano pulled out of their fight. so it was never a case of him running back, it was that he and billy didn't want to be at 147 in the first place. He is not built to go through the weights floyd mayweather has a very long reach for someone of his size, and is a fighter who can go through the weights with his exceptional speed.

Baldomir is a sitting duck for any top fighter! collazo would box his ears off! vernon forrest did a number on him last week. Hatton tried to get the fight with baldomir but he turned it down and fought gatti instead. Bottom line is that hatton has stepped up and is fighting the best considered ww in the world (and pound 4 pound fighter) in his backyard. But yeah he is still a *****! your lame!

ONLY REASON HE CHOSE TO FIGHT PBF IS BECAUSE HE IS THE SMALLEST WW. ALSO BECAUSE PBF IS NUMBER 1 P4P TODAY AND HE HAS ALOT TO GAIN IF HE WIN FIGHT.
Two peices of advice son, learn to show a little more respect and lay off the caps lock.

The reason Hatton is fighting Mayweather is that the fight is huge, it's a much anticipated bout between two p4p fighters, Mayweather is well withing his reach size-wise and they are both coming off signature wins. Tell me this, grapple-boy, who would be a better option for Hatton right now? Which fight would be bigger?

Hatton is no diffrent from those fighter who box and build their record where boxing isn't popular. Where there aren't many great fighters. Then he gets a shot to fight PBF?? See where I'm getting at here. Hatton is now trying to show that he real. Lets see what happens dec 8th

Yea, Mayweather is going to knock Hatton out just like he said he was going to stand toe to toe with De La Hoya. Please Floyd shut your mouth before Hatton does it for you.
