Trinidad Wants Hopkins Now

And you're right. but unlike most, I just don't see Tito going out like that. Trinidad is one fighter, along with Mike Tyson, and Michael Carbajal, that I followed practically thier WHOLE career! There was something there man, something just wasn't the same. Bernard Hopkins didn't just win against Tito, he "BEAT" him! All i'm saying is...if you could do it once, you can do it again, right?
Or can you???
Mosely beat Vargas...twice. I was totally convinced. Can you see what I'm saying?Comment

But according to your own logic, then why should Hopkins fight someone "HE KNOWS" he can beat (tito) when he can go after the "real challenge?but that's just it. Why fight someone "YOU KNOW" you can beat?? That is a true fighter right there...going after the real challenge. That's Trinidad, wanting the bigger, stronger guys.....ahemmm, can't say the same for, uhm, you know who. But if Mosely gives out rematches, so does Winky Wright, and a few others, that they know they convincingly defeated thier opponent, they have no problem fighting them again, right? That is unless....they don't want none...
Hopkins should give Tito a rematch.
And Hopkins has gone after the real challenges pretty much his entire career. He took on Roy Jones, Tito, Oscar, Taylor, Tarver, Winkey (the last two he didn't even have to, he could have fought lesser opponents and retire with a W if he wanted to).
If Tito was active, or had a some-what recent fight, then maybe yeah, give him a rematch...Last edited by ИATAS; 08-01-2007, 05:30 PM.Comment

Your girl loves PR Cokk...you are so biased. It took Hopkins 12 rounds to KO Tito. NOBODY from your family or YOUR cheesy country could claim to have KOd Tito. So shut up, get a tan and fight back...your girl is lost on the RIcan cokk...like a crackhead... That is why you HATE PRs. Sucker....Last edited by Undocumented; 08-01-2007, 06:05 PM.Comment

?? Tito has a much stronger resume than Hopkins! Much! Hopkins beat little dudes who tried to step up in weight... B4 then he was just Roy Jones nuthugger. A snaggle toothed, low life headbutting ex con with overrated ring skills. He is a conman in the ring and that is how he wins. I think Tito has a very good chance of winning.Comment

I totally agree with you .."If Tito was active". I guess the trilogy with Gatti/Ward, Ali/Fraizer, Barrera/Morales/Paquiao, and some others has left me wanting more out of these two. All the forementioned fights, the results exchanged. I can almost garauntee you that should a fighter that lost the first time...but then won the rematch...there would certainly be a Trilogy. One to settle it once and for all, like Paquiao/Morales. Not saying with Tito and Hopkins, that's just what I can see happening. But I guess your right though. I'd better leave 'ol man Nard alone. let him retire with style. But according to your own logic, then why should Hopkins fight someone "HE KNOWS" he can beat (tito) when he can go after the "real challenge?

A rematch is unnecessary in my opinion. And you're right. but unlike most, I just don't see Tito going out like that.
