Lennox Lewis Interested in a Vitali Klitschko Rematch?

The returning Vitali Klitschko (35-2, 34KOs) has told Russian news website Kommersant that retired former champion Lennox Lewis is interested in a rematch, if the money is right. Lewis fought Klitschko in 2003, stopping him in six-rounds due to cuts. Klitschko, who was a late replacement for an injured Kirk Johnson, gave Lewis he could handle in the fight and was leading on the scorecards when ringside physicians felt his cuts were too serious to let him continue with the contest. Lewis retired soon after and a rematch never happened. [details]

What he said. And Lennox better never mention unretirement unless he's mentioning the name of Vitali's brother. But I don't believe it anyway, it's over three years now.

Just when the division is finally starting to get better. Lewis should fight Wlad or fight no one. Actually, I'd rather him just stay retired and let the younger guys do their thing.

lol Vitali will NOT let this one go... Everyone of these rumors are always started by Vitali. Poor Dr. Klitschko.

Even if Vitali knocks Lewis out in round 1, it won't mean anything at all. This is actually a lose/lose for Vitali other than money.

Eventually Vitali will figure that out. Vitali is like someone who blew his Little League championship. And you can't get a rematch with your little league team when you're grown up

I doubt Lewis is coming back. He was serious about his retirement.
