This is an easy win for Joe. I don't see it going past 6 rounds of pure hell for MK.

I think the pressure is on Cal to live up to his performance against Lacy. But instead has a young technically sound fighter in front of him that knows how to fight tall. Cal is going to have his hands full this fight because this is by no means an easy fight for either.

Talking about "no-defense-Lacy" again are we?
Careful old Joe, you got a real fight on your hands this time. Those sweet Lacy memories may soon be all you've got.

That much is true; he's highly regarded by fans who don't follow foreign boxers, and an average performace will hurt him.

The punch numbers can't be right.

The punch numbers that are being thrown around for the lacy fight are inaccurate. I remember the commentator saying on the night that Calzaghe THREW 1006 punches and LANDED around 450.

                  That sounds about right.

Who's complaining? If a footballer claimed to score 100 goals last season, I'd be interested in getting the statistic straight.

It's not about one punch power....ask Lacy

Calzaghe also slaps a lot using the inside of the gloves and even punches that sometimes are similar to karate-punches thrown upside down (see the ending of the Manfredo-fight in slow motion).

                    But these are illegal punches.

He can get away with it, since he almost only fight in UK with WBO

Most of the story's I've read are saying 1006 landed (by the count of the TV company airing the fight), KJ.

450 would seem way to low. No way was his connect % below 50%, I would have thought it was at least 70% from memory.
