Has anyone ever made PACQUIAO go backwards???

Like, i know hes fought Morales and Marquez and everybody, and both those guys were able to walk forward at times, but has anyone applied all out pressure to him, and forced him to fight off the ropes???

Ive thinkin now for a couple of minutes, and i cant think of anybody thats had Pacquiao fighting off the ropes consistantly.

Why hasnt anybody tried that? seems like a pretty good stradegy to me. If pacquiao cant off that 1-2, then hes not as effective...

i dont recall pac bein on the ropes or under serious pressure, but if he moves up in weight and fights the big guys that is bound to happen, IMO, and i hope he does move up in weight after beating barrera down.

people have tried but pac goes forward everytime too and is faster than most of his opponents. i think he'll have trouble with juan diaz'z pressure though.

Well here in the first round of there fight Erik made Manny back up, so yes to your original question of whether or not anyone has made manny back up.

Medgoen Singsurat did. He gave Pac his 2nd ko defeat.

I don't know if that's what you mean because Singsurat hurt him before he backed up Pac.

Well hes got the 3 now too and its pretty good. That is the only question mark in my mind when thinking about the JMM rematch. That brand new hook.

Good question you pose. I've seen alot of Pac fights just cant remember how he does on the ropes.

Let's face it, Manny sucks on the ropes. Infact, that's how any fighter has a chance to beat him. He turtles up on the ropes and until his opponent gives him enough room to move out of the way, he just stays there with his arms up in defense. Larios took advantage of that in the 3rd round and almost KOed Manny when a huge hook got in. I think this is how someone like Valero could KO Manny. Manny just sitting on the ropes while Valero throws KO bombs, 1 gets in and it's over. Anyone else that has made Manny go backwards has been effective, especially when he's in the ropes as he doesn't know what to do.
I do feel he is working on improving this as this is one of the ways he knocked down Erik in the 3rd fight as Erik bull rushed him backwards, he threw a quick left that sent Erik down while Manny was back against the ropes.

Once he fights a young fighter we might just see that happen. MAB,JMM and Morales were all past their best when they've been in with Pac and their stamina has not been nearly up to scratch.

Joan Guzman would likely punch him into the ropes and keep him there til he fell over.

Scott Harrison would have pushed him forwards coz although he wasnt too gifted technically, he never knew how to go backwards and was always superfit with a granite chin to boot. (If Harrison hadnt gone off the rails that would have made a cracking fight imo)

MAB was past his best when he fought PAC?? I don't think so!! When was the last time MAB lost when he faced PAC? How many wins did MAB grab after he got ran out of the Alamo by PAC? before and after PAC , MAB was and went on a win-streak. It ain't being past his prime, MAB simply ran into a 126lb mack truck!!

JMM - when was the last time he lost prior to his draw w/ PAC? How many times did PAC offer JMM for a rematch? How many times did JMM say no? How has JMM looked since PAC?

EM - PAC simply owns the guy, and when he beats Diaz this August. I hope y'all will keep it shut. 'Cause it ain't being past their primes, its because they ran into a mini-mac truck.
