How does Vernon Forrest fit into MW division

I've been a Vernon Forrest fan since he dethroned Shane Mosley (at his peak) TWICE. It was a real disappointment to watch him virtually disappear after his TWO defeats to Mayorga (of all people). Now that he's racked up 3 wins in a row, who would you like to see him fight in the top ten, or does he even deserve to get a shot at the top spots yet?? Personally, I believe Vernon could give any of the top 5 a run for their money if not even upset the balance. If u can Dig It, weigh in.......

i don't think he is gonna last in the middle weight division, or maybe im wrong because the MW division is less riskier than the WW div.

If Pavlik and Taylor indeed move up after their fight, then he should fair rather well imo, but I suggest he stays where he is, it is perfect for him @ LMW..

A fight against Winky would drum up some interest.

Yeah he should be fine. he should try and get a shot at Pavlik if he wins or he could fight Winky.

Winky seems like a good fight for him, but what about a rematch against Shane or Mayorga? Does he deserve a big money bout vs Oscar? Would you watch a fight wit Forrest & Tito Trinidad?? I think Vernon is just what the MW division needs right now to spark more interest (if he keeps the winning streak up). Can u Dig It?!?

He would have a good chance against Wright because Wright is shorter then him and maybe smaller (Winky is big but foguht at 154 for most of his career). I think he could stir thinigs up for a bit but I am not too sure how he would do. I would like him to see in with Miranda or something to test the waters. If he passes the test with FLYING colors he is destined to take the division over. It would be great for boxing if he did so.

I think we have to be careful not to overstate Forrest's current capabilities based on a fight vs Baldomir. Zab was outboxing Baldo for six rounds, and Floyd shut Baldo out.

I'm gonna need another strong outing to destigmatize Vernon. I'm still stuck on the Quartey fight that I felt he clearly lost.
