    I Give Ricky Hatton Credit

I give Ricky Hatton all the credit he deserves for taking a fight with Floyd Mayweather, Most of you know im not a fan of Hatton but I admire his courage, This still does'nt change the fact that he did duck Mayweather for some time but I want to forget the past and move on to the future, This will be a great fight and real boxing fans cant miss it, It will do above 700,000 Pay per view buys based on Floyd's Last PPV which did 2 million buys (Yes it was Oscar mainly but he would'nt have done it without Floyd, Like Floyd would'nt have done it without him, it took both of them to make this fight that big, now after millions of people watched floyd's victory over Oscar (Who is the most popular boxer) made Floyd some new fans and normally Floyd's fights did 400K + but after a victory over DLH and fighting Ricky Hatton who is a superstar in UK coming off a win against a HOF Fighter Castillo will do big PPV Buys as some of them will buy the fight because of Hatton too (Around 25%), and Hatton's big following in UK, I know Hatton has a lot of fans so this would be big, This fight is like a dream fight for me, I know some people who are not interested in this fight but I have been hoping for this fight to happen since Hatton beat Kostya and Mayweather beat Gatti, I think anything can happen in the sports of boxing and Floyd can lose too but I just dont see it against Hatton, however I wont say Hatton has no chance at all, everyone has a chance. I think Hatton has a good chin and Floyd has decent power but I would be shocked if he KO'd Hatton because of:

    a) Hatton has a good chin
    b) Floyd has brittle hands, he has hurt them many times.

I think Floyd may TKO Hatton incase of a deep cut or corner stoppage, but Hatton wont give up, he will put up the fight of his life, and so will Floyd because he has been waiting for this moment after almost 3 years, and Floyd and Hatton dont really like each other thats why I expect it to be a good fight where Mayweather will come up Victorious by a UD (117-111), Hatton will win 3 rounds by his aggresiveness but mostly Floyd will tag him, Now we see that people say Collazo hurt Hatton, let me tell you I have seen that fight and although I scored it a draw I must admit that Hatton was more exhausted then Hurt, He was a bit hurt but that was due to exhaustion moving up in weight affected his stamina + Collazo's defensive skills were frustrating him.

I'm being as non biased as I can and Predicting Mayweather to win by a convincing UD, While Hatton wins 2 or 3 rounds but still gives Mayweather a fight.

I respect Calzaghe for fighting Kessler and Unifying his division, Kessler is a good fighter and IMO he will beat Calzaghe. Win,lose or draw Calzaghe fighting Kessler even though in his hometown earns his respect from me, He will know how it feels when you fight someone your level or a level above you.

If he wants the respect of other fans though and wants to achieve everything he has said and to be a great, he will have to come to USA to face Bernard Hopkins, Imagine if he moves up to 175 to face Bernard Hopkins in USA, Just Imagine if he takes that risk everyone will respect him and there wont be any reason to hate on him, Hopkins beat Tarver and Winky decisively and even at this age has a good chance because of his skills and defense, If a dirty Bika could trouble Calzaghe and dirty Hopkins sure can who is more strong, quick and skilled than Sakio and more dirtier and dictates the fight, Whoever Calzaghe has beaten so far Hopkins would easily beat them, im not discrediting him, im being honest, I think Hopkins would have beaten Eubank, Lacy and Reid much Comfortably who are Calzaghe's top wins.

Don't accuse Ricky of ducking anybody when you're Khans biggest nuthugger.

You don't think his career is going to be guided the same way as Hattons was? Warren won't put him against anyone he won't win for years from now. Pot calling kettle black.

Only respect I give Hatton for is fighting the big ones here. Only reason hes fighting PBF is for the money. He knows he'll lose but in the end he wins @ teh bank.

Your post just proved how ******ed you are, Here I am talking about how great of a fight this going to be while your changing the subject, Did I ever mention Khan in this topic? This is why some of the Mayweather fans dont like Hatton fans and Hattons fans dont like Mayweather fans because no one is neutral, I have actually realised people on these forums dont actually hate the fighter, the hate creates in them because of the certain fans that support thier fighter, Please stick to the topic next time and if all fans/people who support their fighters are nuthuggers then yes I am, so would you be a Hatton "nuthugger"? Anyway to answer your question how the **** has Khan ducked anybody? He is facing Graham Earl next who rocked Katsidis, He has only had 13th Professional fights and has been fighting for almost 2 years yet he is ducking someone? Hatton fought a guy who's record was 17 wins and 72 losses in his 13th professional fight while Khan is fighting Current and former European champions, once he has 20 fights you can pick a certain guy and blame Khan for ducking him.

credit for TAKING the fight? There are 100s of fighters that would LOVE and DREAM of a fight against Mayweather. We have also had other fighters calling him out, Cotto said hed love to fight him, Margarito called him out. I dont give him credit for TAKING the fight at all.

You can only stretch that Bull**** so far. If big fights can be made in Britain then why does Calzaghe have to go to the States? He's proven his class, there is no doubt about that and he would go to states and beat any of the top fighters willing to step into the ring with him, but IMO it would only be for financial reasons as he has nothing to prove.
