That's what I was wondering as well. It would have been a nice fight to show before the Calzaghe/Kessler fight. It's a good fight for Khan to take and actually a risky one that I thought wouldn't happen because of Warren. If Khan uses his abilities and improves his defense from his last fight he should win, but if Earl catches him he could be in trouble.

Amir Khan is facing a lot tougher opposition in his 13th and 14th fights than more than 95% of boxers have, including Floyd Mayweather...

but in his 17th fight, which was 2 1/2 years after he went pro, he fought Genaro Hernandez who had NEVER lost at 130 for the WBC title and then defended it against Manfredy in his 18th, and then pretty much cleaned out the entire 130lb division. So you cant compare the two.

Kahn has been pro for as long as Mayweather was when he fought a hall of fame fighter who's only 2 losses were Mayweather and De La Hoya.

I think it's to do with tv deals. warren has signed a deal with itv to show amir khan's next 7 fights, whereas most of his other fighters will now be on setanta.

won't be on there, the calzaghe vs kessler fight is on setanta sports, ITV still have a deal for Khan fights so it would have to be a different date, shame coz im going to kessler vs calzaghe i would of liked to of seen them fight.
