But I will ask you this: What makes you think that Mayweather will have an easy time with a world-class opponent, considering that he's never had an easy time with these kinds of fighters before?
    Go watch the Collazo fight...

      LMFAO.

Floyd doesn't stop Victoriano Sosa yet he's going to stop Hatton? Besides, I don't think Hatton will win this fight, and I think Floyd will win on all the judges cards by running like he normally does.......but he's not stopping Hatton.

Mayweather is not nearly as big as Collazo. Floyd is a natural 140 pounder. Collazo still lost, mind you, but his best moments came when he imposed his strength- Floyd can't and won't do that.

Not saying Floyd won't win- IMO he will. I agree with you on that. But how can you think that he'll have an easy time with Hatton?

Look at Mayweather's body when he fought Baldomir and how he looked when he fought DLH. Mayweather has grown into the welterweight division and his body clearly shows it. He is as tall as Collazo and probably as strong. Not saying he has ridiculous KO power, but he if Collazo could withstand Hatton's bullying than Mayweather shouldn't have a problem either.

What makes you think Hatton will give Mayweather a tough time? Mayweather has beaten better fighters than Hatton already...

Floyd had to do weight training to become a legitimate fighter at these higher weights. Collazo goes up much higher in weight on fight night; Floyd usually goes DOWN in weight, or stays the same. Collazo lost, so how did he withstand the bullying. I don't care if the fight was close. If the scores swang Hatton's way, then he must have gotten his point across.

Why do I think Hatton will bother Mayweather? Roughhousing. I'm just picturing the Castillo fight. Floyd isn't prepared for those very physical, close-quarters kinds of fights. Even against Delahoya he looked uncomfortable. That's because Oscar was constanly applying pressure, hitting and holding.

anybody who says pbf will have an easy time w/ hatton is a blind nuthugger or just plain dumb. sure pbf is faster, but hatton aint a slowpoke either. pbf 'lost' to a swarmer like castillo and hatton is similar, but definitely much faster than jlc in terms of hand and footspeed. i believe he can keep up w/ pbf.

pbf is stronger? maybe in pushing bullying, but not in punching power. i have them equal. though i see pbf can win this one ON POINTS, he aint having a stroll in the park w/ hatton. but im giving hatton a big chance to win this, much like castillo 1.

-The fight is happening at welterweight. Judging from Hatton's one fight at 147, he's not the great of a fighter at that weight. Also, Hatton isn't even a big jr. welter. He is a midget at welterweight.

-Mayweather has already beaten pressure fighters who were just as good as Hatton.

-Mayweather will make it a point to the referee to warn and deduct points from Hatton for excessive holding.

-Hatton's style is perfect for Mayweather's pot shotting style.
