Ricky responds to Castillo's Mayweather prediction

Castillo said that having been in with both of them he feels Mayweather would just be too fast for Ricky.

Ricky was told this and replied "But he was 20lbs lighter then". Good point!

He was not 20 pounds lighter. The fights were at 135, 5 pounds less than what Ricky fights at and 12 pounds less than what they will fight at.

He wasn't saying it in a literal sense, he was just being a little exaggerant.

He doesn't think Mayweather carries the weight well either, he has no respect for Mayweather's strength or power.

Why should Hatton respect his power or strength?

Mayweather's last KO was 8 years ago and he hasn't stopped a live opponent for nearly 6 years.

Ricky doesn't have to like the many before that have all lost. Power isn't the only reason a fighter wins the fight. To many people on here place to much value in power like it is the begin all end all in determining whether a fighter will win.

This is so untrue that its not worth responding too. He hasnt stopped anyone in 8 years but he stopped a live guy 6 years ago?

P4P whos the harder puncher? Thats what people always forget. Floyd has moved up in weight alot and rapidly. Floyd at 130 was a much better puncher then Hatton at 140
