Pavlik Not Buying Taylor's Weight Issues

Kelly Pavlik (31-0, 28 KOs) is not buying the weight issues of WBC/WBO middleweight champion Jermain Taylor (27-0-1, 17 KOs). The two undefeated fighters will meet in the main event of an HBO televised card on Sept. 29 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. [details]

There are a lot of mysteries surrounding Taylor. Why was Steward yelling 'I told you we should have fought Miranda'? Was it Taylor who didn't want Miranda? and why in the hell would that be?

Taylor has more talent than both Pavlik and Miranda, but is he not really motivated to fight them? Something about that guy is not right.

Well that D better be better for this fight. Or he better have that jab working to keep Pavlik off of him. But the weight shouldn't be used as an excuse if so he should move up and vacate whatever belt he has.

I think Taylor's maing weight problems is legit. If it was'nt legit why would they have a rematch clause at 168lbs? With that said I dont see the weight being a viable excuse for Taylor if he should lose.

to me, it seems as if taylor doesnt even want to fight anymore. he says he doesnt even watch boxing when its on tv, and his last fights he jus seemed like he wasnt there. when he was coming up, he was an exciting fighter and i liked watching him, now he does nothing for me.

well i think we're gonna have a new middleweight champ soon anyway...

Kelly Pavlik was making the weight excuse long before Taylor, he should be happy Taylor is fighting him so soon, Abraham deserves a shot at Taylor more then Pavlik, but Abraham turned down Taylor, now Pavlik is getting his shot, so he should try to make all of his new bandwagon fans proud, cause they all will look ******.
