every time some one talks about ricky hatton they are considered british haters but i don't hear people trashing calzaghe or khan. ricky hatton is just an over rated fighter who always claims to be the most exciting boxer but no one outside of his country wants to watch him fight.if ricky hatton would beat paulie i would give him some respect but instead he's about to fight mayweather who is about 20 times better than ricky hatton and is going to beat ricky up really bad.everyone talks about floyd doesnt have power but everyone he fought at 140 he knocked out except for corley

Tszyu was used to fighting all over the world and fighting at 2am was just as alien to Hatton as it was to KT.

I was in that crowd and it was pretty rowdy. Everyone was pretty hammered by that time so it was to be expected, I guess.

I guess the hostile crowd thing won't be an issue anywhere given the way that Ricky's following is prepared to travel.

Based on Ricky's pub activity, my guess is that he was a tad more familiar with 2am Manchester time than Tszyu was,

Many consider him P4P one of the best in the sport when his resume is just plain rubbish. He is the best fighter in the worst division in all of boxing. This was made very evident when struggled with a fringe contender at 147 and ran back down to 140...

Floyd over Hatten?

Floyd's style, unfortunately, is Hatten's worst nightmare. I may be the only American on this site that would like to see Hatten pulverize Floyd Mayweather, but I seriously doubt that it will happen. Floyd will do his typical hit and run thing until Hatten finally tires and then it will end ignominiously, as most Floyd fights do. Another yawner. I plan to watch the re-run for free. No more of my money is going to Floyd.

The thing is, if mayweather plans on many more years added to his career, it is not a BAD record. The problem is, he thinks it makes him the greatest of all time which is complete bs. He has accomplished nothing except win paper titles and he uses this basis to claim to be the all time greatest?(made this claim even before his overrated 1rd split decision over DLh).

Not that Hatton is better, hattons record is actually far worse but he doesnt claim to be anything special anyway.

Im with you on Americans for Hatton/Lennox Lewis '08 lol. But yeah, Mayweather is Hatton's worst nightmare in every way except killer instinct and power @ 147, but those will hardly make a difference.

Most fighters in their mind may think they are GOAT. Oscar says he wouldn't lose to SRL(which we know is bull). In a different point of time Floyd said he understands that Ali and Robinson were the best in their eras and says he is the best in his own.
