Yeah true I agree with you. People like to see boxers destroy eachother. Dont get me wrong I like watching that also but I rather watch fighters like Sweet Peas and Mayweather because they make top fighters look BAD. I never I mean NEVER seen a boring fight with Mayweather.

Because he's a defensive fighter and doesn't trade.

I have ONLY ever seen 2 Really Good shots land on him.. so how can You know? OH and one Wobbled him.. and the other Put him down no matter what the REF said.. (Corley,Judah)

I have seen the Exact same thing happen to Cotto.. and him be called Weak chinned for it.. And Cotto has taken MANY more punches with NO ILL EFFECT than Mayweather has.. People cant use logic for one man .. and NOT apply the same logic to another.. Know what I'm saying JACK!!!

I agree Mayweather did hit canvas in the Judah fight but remember Floyd was off balance. What I mean is Floyd chin hasnt been tested but then again I do remember DLH giving Mayweather some realy hard shots to the chin and Mayweather still wasn't fazed.

They were all straight shots with weight behind them, but none of them were bone crunching shots, I don't think he threw/landed his left hook once.

Would you trade punches with Tank Abbott

Because they don't understand the sport. And, most likely, they never saw a Mayweather fight prior to "The World Awaits".

The reality is that FMJ had two stick-and-move fights in the past year against MUCH bigger men. I guess that people feel that Floyd, who is really still a JWW should have stood in front of Oscar who outweighs him by 20 lbs.

Or that PBF should have stood and traded with Carlos 'Granite Head" baldomir like Gatti did.

If you look at PBF's career, he has been more of a hunter than a runner.

Judah, Mitchell, NDou, Chavez, Genaro, Gatti, Bruseles, Corrales, etc... These are all fights where PBF played the brawler or stalker role.

A smart fighter adjust his plan to the opponent. Hell, even a smart street fighter doesn't approach the big dude the same way he approaches the small guy.

Don't even bother discussing the sport with anyone who doesn't understand that.

cause in britain moving is a bad thing like during the revolutionary war the ****** british soldiers stood in the middle of a field and fired their guns while the smart americans hid behind stuff and just picked them off. my best analogy ever!

                  Tony...seriously:

How long have you been watching boxing? That statement is not reflective of someone who is truly knowledgeable of the sport.

Good point. I just hope people start understanding the sport. I wonder if PBF takes criticism to well...I saw a interview one time where he was angry and said I know after I beat DLH people still wont give me any credit. I think alot of people hate Mayweather because he has no respect for legends. He talks bad about Sugar Ray Leonard and Robinson. I think if he would have not done that then he wouldn't get bashed alot. Thats why people come up with other reasons to hate him. You think??

True but remember the hard left hooks DLH threw few seconds b4 the last round ended. You gotta admit those were some realy hard power shots. PBF just smiled at the end
