This is the best i have seen him in years. I was very impressed with his performance. I was surprised with the accuracy and timing on his punches ,considering the layoffs. The speed was there, his legs looked good.

Although Baldomir has a good chin, I think Forrest should have at least put him down. I'm wondering if he lost some power he will never get back. Injured shoulders tend to do that.... -

Forrest's power has diminished.
He was landing flush punches that Baldomir couldn't even see coming and he never even stunned him.Comment

And so did Clottey, Judah, Gatti and PBF. The fact is Baldomir has an iron chin. Forrest look very good countering, showed no ring rust and good stamina, but then again, Baldomir was a sitting duck, would love to see him fight Alcine or that Sergei dude who beat Santos for the wbo title.Comment

If there's any truth to him not being able to simply hold his gym bag, even after being administered cortazone shots.............then yes.
That's one of the most terrible injuries I've ever heard of in boxing and I don't see how that wouldn't affect his fights. For christs sake no wonder he was pulling punches left and right falling off his back foot.
And I've always considered him an excellent fighter and elite guy, if he's over that injury then hell yes he's back.
