    Forrest Vs De La Hoya

I don't think its too soon to look beyond baldi now (now watch forrest get ko'd in the last round...)

Is Forrest Vs De La Hoya the biggest possible fight at Light Middleweight right now?

How would you see the fight going?

Not sure but DLH is looking for big money fights. And Forrest wouldn't be a favorable opponent.

I think that'll be a great fight, should've happened after forrerst dominated mosely. I would love to have seen a prime forrest vs prime vargas also.

I agree, i dont think the fight has any chance at being made.

I would LOVE to see it though. And would give DE LA HOYA so much respect if he took that fight.

But right now it seems like he just wants smaller younger guys to beat up on, so he can say he beat a young undefeated fighter in his prime...

De La Hoya is moving back to 147 so this fight won't happen.

I think DLH would beat Forrest and rather easily...
Vernon is bound to get injured in the fight..

Fact of the matter is.. Forrest is too big a guy, and will move up to 160 sooner or later. It's better for him. because De La Hoya is moving down to 147 anyway. If they fought though, at this point.. I'd give the edge to Forrest at 154. Close, but I'd give him the nod.

I don't see Oscar risking anything for a meaningless fight with Forrest. To be completely frank, Oscar only cares about Big names for Big Bucks. He's no longer out to win ABC Belts.

If anything, i see him in a potential Blockbuster fight with either Cotto or a fight next Cinco De Mayo vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. That fight, though not a treat to fans, would generate huge interest in the Mexican Community. Remember, Oscar Beat Chavez Sr. at about the same age Jr is right now. Put this fight in Mexico and you could easily sell out a huge Soccer Stadium. Not jumping ahread, but it could be a "passing of the torch"
