if hatton was on ITV he would be much more popular, i noticed that when itv got warren back all his fighters were in the paper's more so than hatton. bruno was so popular cos he was on bbc.

Interest in boxing here seems to have declined even further since then, the only fighters that people seem to be interested in are khan and calzaghe, because they're the only ones getting any kind of exposure.

I think ricky got exposure from the bbc for the castillo fight, just that with it being on setanta sky ignored it. With Mayweather better known that Tszyu, and the animosity involved (USA v UK) this will be huge I'm sure.

Still a fair point, given the surge in interest in Khan and Calzaghe recently.
