What Does The Future Have For Berto?

I saw him a while back git a little wobbled and I've been keeping a close eye on Berto.

I think Berto gets hit too much. A younger Rivera would have been a war.

Berto needs to switch trainers...hes got big potential.

Boxrec says hes fighting Estrada next...

Who would ya'll like to se him his fight?

I think they need to continue to build up his ring ecperience and at a cetain point around 27 or 28-0 he's gonna have to face a top figher.

Carlos Quintana just got a 3 fight deal, two easy fights and then supposely Berto later this year.

So Bertos future is a lopsided decision or possibly KO loss at the hands of Carlos Quintana. After tonight, I really think Quintana would make easy work of Berto.

The question is, did Cotto make Quintana gunshy? It'll be interesting to see his next fight. I started liking Quintana after he beat Julio.

Good point, Quintana just needs to get his confidence back. But that is why he takes two easy fights before the Berto fight. Get his confidence back by beating up two easy opponents so by the time he fights Berto he will hopeflly have it back. I think Quintana beats Berto easy if they fight. Then he can go for another title. He called out Cintron a loooooong time ago but Cintron never wanted to fight him. True Story. Maybe Cintron would accept the fight then.

I'd love to see a fight between JC Chavez Jr. and Berto. I think Chavez would have a bit of a problem with the hand speed in the early rounds but his beautiful left hook and that quick straight right would punish Berto from the middle rounds on. This would be a great fight. Also, Berto loops his punches too much, a la Jeff Lacy. Chavez' straight punches would get there first.
