Pavlik is talking a lot of **** on how he's going to KO Taylor but that's all bull****. They are both puncher but I feel that Jermain has a bit more sting in his punches.

If Pavlik thinks hes going to win this fight by just flatout rushing Taylor like he did to Miranda then he's sadly mistaken.
taylor couldnt even KO ouma when he tried like hell to. taylor's been taken the distance 11 times already in 28 fights. pavliks been taken the distance 3 times in 30 fights. taylor has never had a real impressive KO in his career.

people need to remember that pavlik didnt rush miranda, he purposefully made miranda fight backwards. pavlik isnt a blind rusher.

Taylor's power for a middleweight is slightly above average, nothing more.

no he can't. thats a common misconception for some reason. He hits hard off the ropes. But while hes going backward the only time he lands a powershot is when he has some room in front him to take a step or to forward.

Pavlik won't give him any of that room, and by the mid-rounds he will be forced to trade off the ropes where Pavlik has every imaginable advantage except for speed

Good point. Take the Winky fight for example. He threw hard only when he got the room to step forward; when Winky had the gap closed and Taylor on his back foot was when Winky was doing well.. Winky had a good plan to beat Taylor, actually, but Taylor is pretty ****ing good himself. I watched this fight twice more in the last week and I'm coming around to the idea that Taylor won it.

just look at their last fights.

after watching pavlik/miranda and taylor/spinks, who do you think would win, seriously? do you think taylor can come off a stinker like that and beat pavlik?

people say "taylor needs the other fighter to come to him". whens the last time that happend and he won?

11 TKO for Pavlik. It's almost a guarantee at this point. Taylor's already started the excuse wagon. By the time Sept. 29 rolls around, Taylor will be claiming to be blind.

He knows he's facing the hungriest fighter in his career.

Oh man, cannot wait for this fight. Size wise they are about even. Power wise they are close too, but Pavlik is a better puncher. Skill wise Taylor might have a small advantage. However, Pavlik is hungry and the only way Taylor is gonna beat him is to either knock him out or put on an absolute boxing clinic. I say Pavlik by late round tko.

Pavlik wins due to ring intelligence & better skill...I see Talylor backtracking taking short crisp combos...Pavlik will display heart in this fight
