"Antonio Nogueira" is boxing at the pan-am games

I posted this earlier on the MMA board, but I fealt it was worthy of the main section as well...

He was apparently just defeated in the semi's yesterday by the cuban boxer in the superheavyweight division at the pan-am games. Here are the semi final results,

91+kg Oscar Rivas (Colombia) d Didier Bence (Canada) WO
91+kg Robert Alfonso (Cuba) d Antonio Nogueira 4-0

I knew the dude had been training alot in boxing but didn't expect this, crazy ****. He won 2 fights before this i think, guess he takes the bronze cause i don't think the losers fight.

Cuba is always the best, but its only because their athletes can't go pro so they spend their whole carreers in the amateurs. The cubans have been on the wrong side of several big upsets though.

I would imagine he'd be in the olympics, though i don't know really about the qaulifying procedures. Apparently he also won gold at the South American games, so he should be there.
