    Boxing Betting

For those who bet in real.. Can you list a few sites that you would recommend. With most of the sites, you can only Bet on under/over rounds or straight winner. Only a few sites allow you to bet on fight outcomes example; Forrest wins on points against baldomir. I know the Greek.com is one of them. Which ******** sites do you guys use specifically for boxing?

    Cheers.

I quit betting online because I can't recommend any. I used 3 different websites, when I closed my accounts the fastest one to get my balance to my account took over a month....the slowest one took that a few times over. Seems they're all about getting money fast and not giving it back in any hurry. I will say, however, that when dealing with smaller sums, they do a little better. Keep in mind, though, that this is simple direct deposit stuff, that should take place overnight anywhere in the world. The size of the deposit doesn't matter, it all works the same. It's just that with larger sums, they put it off as long as possible. Be sure and read the user agreements and whatnot...most of them have a tiny paragraph in there that states they can take their sweet time about giving you your winnings.

Oh...also...most of them charge an additional fee to give your money back to you. The amount varies widely (thegreek charges anywhere from $5 or so, to maybe $25, if I remember right), but most of them do it. It doesn't actually cost them anything to give your money back, they just want that little extra from your pocket. Also, most of them will NOT give your money to you within a week or two after opening the account. You have to wait a short period, and then request the payment. They will completely ignore any request made within this initial period, trust me on this. So if you're looking to place a bet on a specific fight and get your money back right away, don't bother. You'll be at least a couple of weeks, maybe longer.

Yes, I'm pretty jaded on online ********.

Thanks for the advice, ill make sure i read between the lines. If you dont mind me asking, what sites did you use? I'm not familiar with the companies based in the united states i recently moved over from england where i used Coral betting. Too many complications with banking etc to use it abroad so i am searching for a reliable company here in the states.

Pinnacle, The greek, 5 dimes, Stan james, Betcris and WSEX are pretty reputable and very good for boxing. I don't know how many of them accept U.S customers though. Like stickman said, be prepared to wait AT LEAST a week for your winnings.

By the look of things, Pinnacle sportsbook seems like a good option.

I use to use about 3 sites but now I mostly use betus and bodog. Bodog usually has more MMA fights you can bet one. Both these sites also offer 1 free payout per calender month. Additional payouts are $20 bucks or so.

They both often offer props such as win by KO/Decision which round will the fight end in. They also have a prop bet on who will lead on Ledermans score card after 3 rounds.

However these types of props are only for main events. Most fights have the regular win, win by decision, win via tko/ko/dq and the over under.

P.S. if you use bodog use someone's referrall number and get them some free $$$.

BTW Bodog usually doesn't let you parlay boxing matches while Betus usually does.

Pinnacle always has good odds but you cannot bet heavy right away as they don't usually put their limits up until a few days before the fights. They will let you bet HUGE on some fights. You could bet over $15,000 on the Winky/Hopkins fight. They DO NOT accept U.S customers.

5 dimes has their odds out way in advance of everyone else but yet again they usually limit your betting action to $250 until closer to the fight.

Stan James has the best limits for smaller fights. You can usually bet at least $1,000 as soon as the odds come out.

I use all these books and The Greek pay's out the quickest.

                  Hope this helps.

Yep Bodog has a very good rep but they don't accept Canadians LOL. I forgot to mention that 5 dimes has the best Parly's I have seen from any sports book. Hey left , have you ever had problems with Betus? I have heard some really ****ty things about them.
