Racist pricks like you who only see one side of the picture are ****ing up the world. Crime, unemployment, lack of education - all of these are related to economic status I.E. poverty. Race is not a factor in any way. ITS NOT A RACIAL ISSUE, IT IS AN ECONOMIC ISSUE.

Marginalized and poor people have more need to resort to desperate and drastic measures than those who are well-off financially, and they also MUCH more persecuted and profiled. The majority of poor people in the United States are black and latino. Throughout the history of the U.S. they have been denied their basic human rights and had their lives made into a living hell due to the implementation of many hard to overcome obstacles. These hardships cause anger, frustration, depression, lack of self-esteem and self-worth in MANY individuals. SOME with an incredible willpower and dedication can eventually overcome them, but facts are facts, and latinos and blacks have it WAY harder than whites, and poor people have it WAAAAAYYY harder than those who are not.

Excuses, excuses For your edification. Latinos and Blacks are not the only ********** to enter this country from a disadvantaged start. You obviously have not done any reading on other minority groups . People from all over the world generally come to the "Land of Milk and Oil" to seek opportunities. Asians generally fare better than other minority groups. Why is that?

Everyone came here in some way, shape, or form. Asians scrubbed floors alongside Latinos, Blacks, etc.. But we have been labeled "Model **********" why is that?

Anyway, do you agree that most boxers come from poor backgrounds? Your answer is YES!

America has the biggest media outlet in the world, do you agree? Of course you do!

Mexico is a large poor country, do you agree? Of course you do!

Mexico is neighbors w/ the country who happens to have invented western boxing.

America invents boxing-> Mexico poor->Lots of people from poor country in and out of border-> Poor people have very few choices-> boxing is one of them-> America, the big media giant, attracting lots of poor mexicans to box. Basically, Mexico has been some sort of farm system for boxing, due to its large poor demographic. Can you see it now!!! Thank you.

Blacks, the other poor minority ,have baseball, basketball,football, boxing. have more options sportswise, and those other athletic avenues for poor blacks pay a helluva lot more than boxing. Can you see it now!!!

This is w/o saying that Mexico's reign in boxing as having many world champions is only due to its large poor population. But it's a major factor when you consider the amount of fighters coming out Mexico and have the easiest access to America, more than any other poor country in the world.

A fighter coming from another country have to have something extra special just to get his crack at the "American pie". Mexican fighters are everywhere, from the club fights - ESPN2 fights - Premium cable channel fights- PPV fights. And trust me, those Mexican fighters seen on club fights or ESPN2 fights are no different than those fighters across the pacific at that level. Why would Don King, Bob Arum, etc.. bother w/ someone halfway across the world, when they can pluck 'em right out of TJ???

It's simple business folks. BUY CHEAP, SELL HIGH. Buy Mexicans, sell 'em on PPV in front of the largest minority group in America. and what do you have? One big successful rip off scam. Just ask DLH's fans. They love getting ripped off over and over and over.

hey man when you tell people the truth they cant handle it. mexico has so many champions and of course most of the great warriors ever to get in the ring. there is a lot of excitement tonight because two mexican warriors are battling in tx and another great warrior will be fighting in chicago. it is a great night to be a boxing fan and thats only because of mexican warriors. boxing would probably be the wrost sport ever if not for our great country.
