Vargas pre back problems would destory mayorga

I agree to an extent. That was the main factor in his falling off so badly so quickly, but the Trinidad fight did have SOMETHING to do with it. However, he still looked good in the mid-rounds against Oscar, even against Shane in their first fight. But the Tito and Oscar beatings, when added to the back and weight problems contributed to his demise.

And yeah, pre-back problems Vargas would destroy Mayorga and give any fighter in history at 154 problems.

i think vargas looked so bad vs mosley because he was dehydrated to make weight, if you remmeber the interview they gave to mosley before the fight he was slow and sluggish

but hell still win this one
vargas is a natural 154
mayo is at his best in the 147 class
plus being less skilled
both on the slide
but vargas prolly pulls it out with his slightly better technique

sure he didn't get the back problems from becoming a fat slob. i know a gut can give upper and or lower back problems.............

Vagas cou win if he is discpline enought and if he calm and box around he doesnt need war and to slug it out against Mayorga because it doesnt prove anything and it didnt prove anything back then.

But also people are forgetting Mayorga lack of discpline that could give Vargas a chance to win
